Pouring of the footings!!

The building inspector showed up first thing Monday morning and approved the sewer lines.
The guys came back to finish the frame for the footings with the rebar. Then inspector had to check that this morning. And this very minute they are pouring the footings!!!!!

All in a day's wo

We got back from Italy in the day before yesterday- having been gone for three weeks. There were a few more details to be hashed out between the building permit office and the engineer/architect. I left for yoga this morning and came home to find the most beautiful piece of machinery digging trenches for our footings! It is the end of the day- the braces are up and life couldn't be better. The plumber comes tomorrow for the ruff ins and then we wait for the building inspector to come for the first check (probably Monday).
